Leading Chemical Manufacturer

Ran the European Infrastructure operation with 10 staff and a $2m budget ($5m with additional operating costs). Improved the infrastructure to support the business needs whilst reducing the operating costs. Influenced the American owners to keep continuous investment flowing to the European business. Implemented Thin client solutions and a number of TCO reduction initiatives, including demand management.

Leading Finance Company

Ran the European Infrastructure and implemented new technologies to improve services and reduce the overall total cost of ownership (TCO). Implemented a thin client solution to the business and rolled out all the line of business applications to the European region. Was a member of the European Telecoms Council.

Systems Integrator

Set up the Northern Regional sales arm of a small and growing systems integrator and increased the sales in the region by 1000% over 4 years. Recruited new staff and managed a team of sales and technical consultants. Implemented thin client solutions at a number of large councils across the northern part of Europe.

Leading Haulage Company

Developed a software and infrastructure solution to a management solution to a large and growing haulage company. Implemented network infrastructure, desktop management solution and an application access infrastructure for external users. Security has been a focus of the projects and firewalls, VPNs and virus/spyware management solutions have been implemented

Leading Scandinavian Finance Company

Developed software to calculate leasing and financing solutions for car sales outlets. Utilised handheld solutions.

Swedish Consumers' Association

Developed software to calculate APR on various credit cards based on Excel spreadsheets.
